"2008 READ & HIT A HOMERUN READING PROGRAM" |
| The Reading Program is now in it's 12th year! The Baysox present the "Read & Hit a Home Run" Reading Program - reaching out to Elementary & Middle School Students across the region. To receive a complimentary ticket to their county "Reading Night," children read four books outside of their classroom curriculum. This program runs from October - May. "2008 MOST IMPROVED STUDENT NIGHTS " |
| Each spring the Baysox honor students from area elementary, middle and high schools as nominated by their teachers and administrators for showing outstanding improvements in academics, attendance, aptitude and attitude. These students are rewarded with a complimentary ticket to a pre-selected Baysox game and are honored on the field of Prince George's Stadium in ceremonies before the game.

"2008 BASEBALL IN EDUCATION DAYS" |
Each season, the Baysox host two special 11:05 am games for local elementary & middle school students to attend via school field trip. The day cosists of a Baysox game, lunch, Baseball Education packet and a lot of fun while learning lessons of history, math, geography, science, and language through the game of baseball! | Let your team take the field with the Baysox for the National Anthem! Youth Baseball and softball teams have pre-game access to the Baysox dugout and the chance to stand with the starting line-up for the National Anthem. "CORPORATE CARE PROGRAM" |
| For the fourth season, the Bowie Baysox have teamed up with Shoppers Food, a leading grocer in the Washington D.C./Baltimore, MD to offer free tickets to area non-profit, civic & youth organizations. This free program is available for all Baysox 2007 home games. Organizations interested in applying to receive these tickets should send a request letter to: Bowie Baysox Corporate Care Program - 4101 NE Crain Highway - Bowie, MD 20716. Requests will be handled and evaluated on a first come first served basis. Businesses interested in finding out more information on how to be come involved by sponsoring a block of tickets can contact the Baysox Ticket Sales Office at 301-464-4880. |
